The loss snapped the Cougars' 4-game winning streak.
Giaimo played well for the Warren school in the victory. The senior quarterback ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.
The Warriors had given up an average of 17.4 points prior to the contest. The 13 points that Montgomery ended with were well below its average of 20.2 coming into the game.
The loss comes after Montgomery defeated Warren Hills Regional 27-9 last week.
Montgomery (4-2) goes up against Hillsborough in a non-conference game matchup next week, while Watchung Hills Regional (3-3) locks horns with Scotch Plains-Fanwood also in a non-conference game.
