Baseball Recap: Dublin Victorious

Dublin saw some tournament action on Monday. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Northgate Broncos. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gaels.

Willie Maya looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Evan Salvador was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That stolen base was his first of the season.

Dublin's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Northgate, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.

Dublin has already played their next contest, a 5-1 win against Clayton Valley Charter on the 8th. As for Northgate, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-0 defeat against Dougherty Valley on the 8th.
