Skyline is 7-1 against Lakeland since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Tigers will welcome the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Skyline's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Lockwood 8-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Skyline.

The result came thanks to Dakota Carlisle's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Skyline saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paxton Foster, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Logan Moppin was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Lakeland made easy work of Humansville on Friday and carried off a 15-0 victory.

Lakeland is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Skyline, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
