Football Game Preview: Landmark Christian War Eagles vs. Mount Paran Christian Eagles + How To Watch

The Landmark Christian War Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Mount Paran Christian Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Landmark Christian's defense has only allowed 8.1 points per game this season, so Mount Paran Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.

On Friday, Landmark Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 24-19 to Whitefield Academy. The War Eagles haven't had much luck with the WolfPack recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Landmark Christian might have lost, but man, Skylar Hamilton was a machine: he rushed for 121 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 128 yards and one TD.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Thursday. Mount Paran Christian breezed past Business Engineering Science Tech to the tune of 31-0. The result was nothing new for Mount Paran Christian, who have now won three games by 30 points or more so far this season.

Mount Paran Christian found their leader in sophomore Eli Hewatt, who rushed for 31 yards and two scores.

Mount Paran Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 28.3 points over those games. Having lost for the first time this season, Landmark Christian fell to 7-1.

Landmark Christian couldn't quite get it done against Mount Paran Christian in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 28-21. Thankfully for the War Eagles, Andrew Overton (who rushed for 202 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
