Groesbeck won the last time they faced McGregor and things went their way on Friday too. The Goats enjoyed a cozy 45-27 win over the Bulldogs.

When it comes to explaining why McGregor lost, don't look at Bubba Zacharias. Despite the final result, he rushed for 61 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 275 yards and a pair of TDs. 114 of those passing yards were hauled in by Dominic Madron.

The victory got Groesbeck back to even at 1-1. As for McGregor, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Groesbeck will head out to take on Centerville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for McGregor, they will venture away from home to face off against West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
