Emmett lost against Fruitland back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Huskies took a 28-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grizzlies.

When it comes to explaining why Emmett lost, don't look at Nessen Korell. Despite the final result, he rushed for 191 yards and two TDs while picking up 10.6 yards per carry.

A big part of Fruitland's win came down to the chemistry between Titus Vidalk and his top target Joel Philpot. Vidalk threw for 214 yards and one touchdown while completing 75% of his passes while Philpot gained 119 total yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Philpot a new career-high in receiving yards (107).
