Softball Recap: Rio Rico Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Rio Rico's offense. They came up short against the Nogales Apaches on Friday, falling 13-0. The defeat leaves the Hawks still looking for their first win of the season.

Rio Rico's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Nogales, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Looking ahead, Rio Rico will be playing in front of their home fans against Sahuarita at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nogales, they will take on St. David at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Nogales' pitchers better be ready for this one: St. David has averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season.
