Basketball Game Preview: Thurgood Marshall Cougars vs. Mt. Healthy Fighting Owls

The Thurgood Marshall Cougars will square off against the Mt. Healthy Fighting Owls at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

On Friday, Thurgood Marshall came up short against Dunbar and fell 57-45. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 543rd, while the Wolverines are ranked 228th).

Meanwhile, Mt. Healthy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 52-47 to Northwest.

Mt. Healthy's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Thurgood Marshall, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-9.
