Baseball Recap: Eagleville Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Eagleville's offense. They came up short against the Richland Raiders on Saturday, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-3 defeat two weeks ago.

Eagleville moved to 20-16-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Richland, they are on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 21 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season.

Eagleville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-2 victory against Hampshire on the 9th. As for Richland, they will square off against Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central on Wednesday.
