Football Game Preview: College Park Falcons vs. Alhambra Bulldogs + How To Watch

College Park is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Friday. After each having a week off, they and the Alhambra Bulldogs will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. College Park is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

College Park is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Miramonte last Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Falcons lost 38-14 to the Matadors.

College Park's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jayden Auld, who picked up 114 receiving yards and one touchdown, and Demorian McCray, who picked up 36 receiving yards and one score. Ethan Havens was another key player, having thrown for 260 yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 34-6, which was the final score in Alhambra's tilt against Campolindo last Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 578th, while the Cougars are ranked 102nd).

College Park's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Alhambra, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Everything came up roses for College Park against Alhambra when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 34-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
