Softball Recap: Walnut Wildcats vs. Alcorn Central Bears
Walnut lost against Alcorn Central last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Walnut Wildcats came up short against the Alcorn Central Bears, falling 8-2. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Walnut saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Allie Jackson, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3. Matti Mayo also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
