Softball Recap: Los Amigos Falls Short of Culver City in the Playoffs

Los Amigos and Culver City squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Los Amigos had to settle for second. They came up short against the Centaurs, falling 13-3.

Los Amigos saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maria Castillo, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Castillo has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times she's played.

Los Amigos' defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Culver City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-14.

Los Amigos does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Culver City, they will challenge Silverado at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Centaurs surely won't give up without a fight.
