Football Recap: Marion County Red Raiders vs. Sulligent Blue Devils
Marion County couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Sulligent Blue Devils on Friday, falling 42-22. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Raiders of the 42-29 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2019.
Tye Madison rushed for 75 yards on only eight carries.
Ty Hollis was his top target, picking up 60 receiving yards.
