Softball Recap: Thatcher Takes a Loss

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Thatcher was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They came up short against the Tombstone Yellow Jackets, falling 15-2. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Yellow Jackets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2020.

Thatcher's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Tombstone, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-4.

Thatcher didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 22-1 victory against Amphitheater on the 12th. As for Tombstone, they have also already played their next game, a 15-11 win against St. David on the 11th.
