Soccer Recap: Lompoc Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Lompoc was not quite Righetti's equal in the second half on Saturday. 2025 welcomed they with a 5-1 loss courtesy of the Righetti Warriors. The Braves haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Lompoc's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Righetti, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-1-3 record this season.

Lompoc will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Morro Bay at 3:00 p.m. As for Righetti, they are taking a road trip to take on Arroyo Grande at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Righetti is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season.
