Softball Recap: Gretna Comes Up Short

Gretna fell victim to Jefferson Forest and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 12-0 to the Cavaliers. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gretna's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Jefferson Forest, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Looking ahead, Gretna is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Tunstall at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tunstall's pitching crew has only allowed one run per game this season, so Gretna's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Jefferson Forest, they will welcome Gretna at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
