Basketball Recap: Calvary Day Takes a Loss

Calvary Day suffered their closest defeat since November 23, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Windsor Forest Knights by a score of 61-59. The Cavaliers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 64-47.

Landon Page was his usual excellent self, putting up 19 points for Windsor Forest. Another player making a difference was Sean Cabellero, who posted 12 points.

Calvary Day's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 15-1 and their overall record down to 18-7. As for Windsor Forest, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 19 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

Calvary Day has already played their next contest, a 79-45 win against Fellowship Christian on the 19th. As for Windsor Forest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 89-66 victory against Riverdale on the 19th.
