Volleyball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short on the Road Against Peekskill

Hamilton had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Peekskill Red Devils by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2015.

Hamilton started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 13-25, 25-22, 25-12, 15-13.

Peekskill has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Hamilton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Salem at 5:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Peekskill, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Port Chester on the 10th.
