Volleyball Recap: Marlboro Central's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Marlboro Central had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Onteora Eagles 3-0 on Wednesday. The Dukes not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2nd (when they won 3-0).

Marlboro Central walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-6, 25-16.

Marlboro Central's win bumped their record up to 5-11-1. As for Onteora, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Marlboro Central will take on rival Pine Plains at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Onteora is set to square off against their familiar foe Rhinebeck at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
