Recap: Stephenville FAITH Knights vs. Weatherford Express HomeSchool Express
The Stephenville FAITH Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 64-39 walloping at the hands of Weatherford Express HomeSchool. Stephenville FAITH has not had much luck with Weatherford Express HomeSchool recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Stephenville FAITH saw an underclassman step up: Seven Baker scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mark Payne, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Stephenville FAITH has not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Weatherford Express HomeSchool, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Heritage Christian Athletics the next time they take the court. Stephenville FAITH will head out to face Heritage Christian Athletics at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Weatherford Express HomeSchool will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd.
