Softball Recap: Lower Dauphin Triumphs

Lower Dauphin won the last time they faced Red Land and things went their way on Tuesday too. Lower Dauphin walked away with an 8-3 win over Red Land. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Carissa Wenner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, Audrey Adams was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave her a new career-high. Sadie Borrelli was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Lower Dauphin now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Red Land, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lower Dauphin will welcome Hershey at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hershey will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Red Land, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Central Dauphin East at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Red Land is facing Central Dauphin East at the right time seeing as Central Dauphin East is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
