Softball Game Preview: Marble Falls Mustangs vs. Elgin Wildcats

The Marble Falls Mustangs are taking a road trip to square off against the Elgin Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Marble Falls is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Marble Falls lost 21-10 to Jarrell on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 15 runs the game before, Elgin was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against East View, falling 13-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wildcats have suffered against the Patriots since April 16, 2019.

Marble Falls now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Elgin, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
