Football Recap: Blue Hill Bobcats vs. Axtell Wildcats
It was a proper cat-fight when Blue Hill duked it out withAxtell on Friday. The Blue Hill Bobcats received a blow as they fell 62-46 to the Axtell Wildcats. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Axtell had a senior duo take command as Elijah Bergstrom gained 261 total yards and five touchdowns and Jacob Halvorsen rushed for 140 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. Bergstrom is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games.
Blue Hill's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Axtell, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.
