Hancock Central and Mitchell County squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Hancock Central had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Mitchell County Eagles 47-12. Having soared to a lofty 46 points in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Mitchell County found their leader in freshman Khalil Murray, who rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns. Those 119 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Murray. Jonathan Isom was another key player, rushing for 79 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.
