Volleyball Recap: Odyssey Institute Comes Up Short

Odyssey Institute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Seton Catholic Sentinels. If the Minotaur were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Sentinels when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-17, 25-16.

Francisco Orozco paced Odyssey Institute's offense, picking up four kills. Orozco got some help from Sebastian Cano and his ten assists. Max Diaz-Gonzalez controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Odyssey Institute's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Seton Catholic, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-7.

Odyssey Institute didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Scottsdale Christian Academy on the 23rd. As for Seton Catholic, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Cicero Prep Academy on the 23rd.
