Softball Recap: Tuslaw Comes Up Short

Tuslaw was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 10-7 to the Perry Panthers. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hadley Porter was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and one double while going 4-for-4. Shaylyn Fox was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Tuslaw's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Perry, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-14-1 record this season.

Tuslaw will square off against Boardman at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Perry will be paying especially close attention to the Mustangs' game: after the Mustangs face off against the Spartans, they'll take on Perry again at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
