Newark won the last time they faced Logan, and Bodie Smith did his part to make sure it happened again. The Wildcats took their match on Friday with ease, bagging a 49-7 victory over the Chieftains thanks in part to Smith, who threw for 377 yards and six TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 3.2 passing touchdowns per game.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Newark, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Kolton Peterson, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
