Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lowville). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Watertown Cyclones a 17-0 shutout on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Lowville pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Watertown, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Lowville will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cyclones: the pair will be back at it again later today.
