Volleyball Game Preview: Columbus East Olympians vs. Bloomington South Panthers

The Columbus East Olympians will take on the Bloomington South Panthers in a tournament on Saturday. Columbus East will be strutting in after a win while Bloomington South will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Columbus East got the win against Warren Central by a conclusive 3-0.

Columbus East was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-13, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Bloomington South lost 3-0 to Columbus North on Tuesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Columbus North scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17, 25-18.

Columbus East's victory bumped their record up to 11-15. As for Bloomington South, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
