Floyd County lost to Patrick County back in January of 2025, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Buffaloes came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 63-53. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buffaloes.

Despite the loss, Patrick County still got an impressive performance from Chloe Hubbard, who posted seven points along with five boards and three steals. Hubbard continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Bella Wright also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Floyd County's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Patrick County, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-5.

Floyd County has already played their next game (against Martinsville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Patrick County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 68-53 loss against Radford on the 9th.
