After a string of three wins, San Antonio Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marion Bulldogs.

San Antonio Christian's offense was headlined by Annabelle Warren and Sara Cleveland, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Mary Ellen Sturm and her 14 assists. Warren was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

San Antonio Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-7. As for Marion, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

San Antonio Christian has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Victoria East on the 22nd. As for Marion, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Goliad on the 22nd.
