The Gann Academy Red Heifers pushed their score all the way to 74 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 87-74 hit to the loss column at the hands of Boston Trinity Academy. Gann Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Boston Trinity Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Wellbi Perez-Valera, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Perez-Valera hasn't dropped below 18 points for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Cameron Martin, who scored 17 points along with five assists and four steals.
Gann Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-2. As for Boston Trinity Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.
