Soccer Recap: Edison Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Edison, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Jefferson Mustangs on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-1. For the Golden Bears, this counts as revenge for the 4-3 victory the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Edison's record is now 3-6-1. As for Jefferson, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1-1 and their overall record down to 6-5-2.

Edison will take on Seguin at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Edison's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Jefferson, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Highlands on the 31st.
