Eastside scored the most runs they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 18-10 to the Countryside Christian Minutemen. Even if the Rams couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Eastside saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Asa Swenson, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Curtis Williams also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Eastside dropped their record down to 0-10 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Countryside Christian, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Eastside has already played their next game, a 20-5 defeat against Hawthorne on the 12th. As for Countryside Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Ocala Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Countryside Christian's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
