Baseball Recap: Trinity Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Trinity waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 12-11 W against the Penn-Trafford Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Hillers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Landon Crowe tossed a big game, pitching 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.

At the plate, Derek Falvo was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles. Ayvari Chandler was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Trinity now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Penn-Trafford, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity will venture away from home to face off against Elizabeth Forward at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Penn-Trafford, they will square off against Hempfield Area at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
