Lick-Wilmerding will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating University, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Lick-Wilmerding escaped with a win on Thursday against University by the margin of a single free throw, 74-73.

Meanwhile, Marin Academy hadn't done well against Stuart Hall recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Marin Academy came out on top against Stuart Hall by a score of 70-61. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Lick-Wilmerding's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for Marin Academy, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Lick-Wilmerding beat Marin Academy 45-37 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lick-Wilmerding since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
