Volleyball Recap: Archbishop Alter Comes Up Short

Archbishop Alter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Eaton Eagles. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 25-10.

Despite the loss, Archbishop Alter still got an impressive performance from Bella Markowski, who had 12 assists and six digs. Player #15 also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Archbishop Alter's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Eaton, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-6.

Archbishop Alter has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Fairfield on the 7th. As for Eaton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Chaminade Julienne Catholic on the 6th.
