Basketball Recap: Hot Springs Comes Up Short

After flying high against Arkansas last Tuesday, Hot Springs came back down to earth. The Hot Springs Trojans lost 59-33 to the White Hall Bulldogs on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 226th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 72nd).

Hot Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 3-23. As for White Hall, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-8.

Looking ahead, Hot Springs will square off against Pine Bluff at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for White Hall, they and Lake Hamilton will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Lake Hamilton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.
