Volleyball Game Preview: Lincoln Hornets vs. Sweetwater Red Devils

The Lincoln Hornets will face off against the Sweetwater Red Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lincoln comes in on four and Sweetwater on five.

Last Wednesday, everything went Lincoln's way against Mar Vista as Lincoln made off with a 3-0 win.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-11, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Sweetwater posted their closest victory since February 26th on Thursday. They skirted past Olympian 3-2.

Sweetwater had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 25-27, 17-25, 25-23, 25-21, 15-5.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Sweetwater, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
