Metro Tech is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 12th straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They came up short against Alhambra, falling 64-41.

Meanwhile, Agua Fria came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 55-44. While the Owls didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Agua Fria is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Metro Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.
