Volleyball Game Preview: Cypress Ridge Rams vs. Northbrook Raiders

Cypress Ridge is on an 11-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Northbrook a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Cypress Ridge Rams will be playing at home against the Northbrook Raiders at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Thursday, Cypress Ridge didn't have quite enough to beat Cypress Creek and fell 3-2.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Cypress Ridge sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 23-25, 25-19, 23-25, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Northbrook came up short against Cypress Falls on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-6, 25-13.

Northbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 4-24. As for Cypress Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 4-25.

Everything went Cypress Ridge's way against Northbrook in their previous matchup back in September, as Cypress Ridge made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
