 Meanwhile,  after soaring to 47  points the game before, Ringgold was a bit more limited  in their  game  on Friday. They took a  blow against Thomas Jefferson, falling  42-6. The  contest marked the Rams' lowest-scoring  matchup so far this season.
 Belle Vernon's  victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Ringgold, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record  this season.
