Belle Vernon has gone a perfect 8-0 against Ringgold recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Belle Vernon is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Laurel Highlands 48-6. The win was some much needed relief for the Leopards as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Belle Vernon can attribute much of their success to Curtis Wade, who rushed for 101 yards and three scores on only 12 carries, and Chace Petrosky, who rushed for 85 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries. Caleb Horner got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 47 points the game before, Ringgold was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They took a blow against Thomas Jefferson, falling 42-6. The contest marked the Rams' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Belle Vernon's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Ringgold, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
