Soccer Recap: Union Pines Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fike, Union Pines was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Pine Forest Trojans a 3-0 shutout. Even though Union Pines got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Jon Davis was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Union Pines hit Pine Forest with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Andrew Garcia, David Cerna, and Zachary Simpson.
