Basketball Recap: Reavis' Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

There's no place like home for Reavis, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past the Momence Momence Athletics 47-23 on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Several Momence Athletics players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was A Miracle Johnson, who posted five points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Adyki Gunn, who had six points.

Reavis' victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-9. As for Momence, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

Reavis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 51-33 defeat against Joliet Catholic on the 28th. As for Momence, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 48-33 loss against Bradley-Bourbonnais on the 28th.
