While Santa Teresa didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Burges Mustangs on Wednesday as the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors made off with a 10-3 win. The Desert Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Josue Ramirez made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
