Jamari Wilson Game Report: vs Chatham Central

Jamari Wilson was a major factor in Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy's win over Chatham Central on Friday. Wilson made a splash, rushing for 175 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also throwing for 130 yards and one touchdown. He played a big game the last time he faced Chatham Central last Thursday, so the team probably should've seen him coming. Wilson also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles and defending one pass.

Looking ahead, Wilson and Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy are taking a road trip to square off against Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gryphons will enter the matchup having just beaten Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy, so the Phoenix will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
