Softball Recap: Walton Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Walton put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Stevenson Ambassadors with a sharp 14-4 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2016.

Walton's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Stevenson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walton will square off against Monroe Campus at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Monroe Campus has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.2 runs per game on average), something Walton will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Stevenson, they will welcome Taft at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
