Baseball Game Preview: Patterson Tigers vs. Central Catholic Raiders

The Patterson Tigers will venture away from home to square off against the Central Catholic Raiders at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Patterson is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering East Union just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 10-5 to the Lancers.

Max Medina made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, Central Catholic fell victim to St. Mary's and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 7-0 to the Rams. The game marked the first time this season in which the Raiders were not able to get on the board.

Patterson's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Central Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
