Basketball Game Preview: Caney Valley Bullpups vs. Fredonia Yellowjackets

The Caney Valley Bullpups will take on the Fredonia Yellowjackets on Tuesday. Caney Valley will be strutting in after a victory while Fredonia will be coming in after a defeat.

Caney Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They really took it to Erie for the full four quarters, racking up a 79-31 win. The Bullpups have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Fredonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 62-30 defeat at the hands of Cherryvale. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 308th, while the Chargers are ranked 76th).

Caney Valley's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Fredonia, their loss dropped their record down to 2-16.

Everything came up roses for Caney Valley against Fredonia in their previous meeting last Thursday, as the team secured a 49-14 win. Will Caney Valley repeat their success, or does Fredonia have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
