Baseball Recap: Hawley Takes a Loss

After flying high against Frazee on Tuesday, Hawley came back down to earth. The Nuggets came up short against the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Rebels on Thursday, falling 12-1. The Nuggets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Hawley now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Rebels beat Hawley by a score of 18-3 later that day.
